El Workflow en la realización de un Teaser en Stop Motion: The Red Fish

Realización y postproducción de un teaser a partir de un guion técnico y literario con la técnica del stop motion. En el teaser se verán planos animados y de imagen real con una duración de dos minutos aproximadamente en el que intervienen dos personajes (puppets): un pez y un pescador. La imagen se verá apoyada en la banda sonora y efectos de sonido y puesto que es un teaser, el montaje será alternando la cabecera del corto con las imágenes del teaser. De todo el proceso he realizado un making of: escritura del guion técnico y literario, modelado y construcción de personajes y escenario, animación, storyboard, postproducción... En este trabajo veremos el proceso de una animación low cost, para demostrar que se puede dar forma a tus ideas desde tu propia habitación y de una manera atractiva, con ilustraciones de referencia que acompañarán al texto, centrándonos sobre todo en las fases por las que ha pasado nuestro producto final.

Direction and postproduction of a teaser from a technical and literary script using stopmotion technique. The teaser features both animation sequences and real images. It lasts approximately two minutes and two characters (puppets), a fish and a fisherman, are involved in the action. The images are supported by the soundtrack and sound effects, and as it is a teaser, the editing alternates the short film’s heading and images from the teaser. A ‘making of’ of the whole process will also be included: literary and technical script writing, modelling and construction of characters and setting, animation, storyboard, postproduction… In this project we will see the process involved in a low cost animation, the purpose of which is to show that it is possible to materialize your ideas from your very own room in an attractive way, making use of reference illustrations that will be displayed alongside the text, and with a focus on the different stages in the creation of the final product.
