Caracterización constructivo-material de estaciones de ferrocarril históricas europeas

Abstract

[EN] The purpose of this work is to analyze the construction elements and materials of a series of railway stations, considered as historic buildings throughout the European continent, built in the 19th and 20th centuries. On the one hand, an introduction of the stations will be made in such a way as to explain the historical context in which they were constructed and to create a spatial image of each one of them. In this way, the building can be understood more clearly before an analytical study of its constructive elements. And, on the other hand, it will focus on making an analysis of the relevant elements of the stations, both the station building, and the area of platforms and tracks. It will be possible to observe through details how these buildings work and how they were constructed.

[ES] El objeto del siguiente trabajo trata sobre la realización de un análisis de elementos constructivos y de materiales de una serie de estaciones de ferrocarril, consideradas como edificios históricos en todo el continente europeo, construidas en los siglos XIX y XX. Por una parte, se realizará una introducción de las estaciones de forma que se explique el contexto histórico en el que fueron construidas y se cree una imagen espacial de cada una de ellas. De esta forma, se podrá entender con mayor claridad el edificio antes de hacer un estudio analítico de sus elementos constructivos. Y, por otra parte, se centrará en hacer un análisis de los elementos relevantes de las estaciones, tanto del edificio de la estación, como de la zona de andenes y vías. Se podrá observar mediante detalles como funcionan estos edificios y como fueron construidos.
