CONSTRUCCIONES EN CENTÍMETROSPINTURA Y GEOMETRÍA

Abstract

My Final Degree Work is the realization of a body of paintings that could become an exhibition project. These works have been developed, basically, from the possibilities offered by abstract geometric painting. To this formal basis, which lies in the influence of movements such as Suprematism, Constructivism or Op-Art and artists such as Malévich, Mondrian or Vaserely, it must be added the influence of the plasticity and expressiveness of the painting of artists of the Color-Field and Abstract Expressionism, especially from the work of Mark Rothko or Barnett Newman.

Mi Trabajo Final de Grado consiste en la realización de un conjunto de obras pictóricas que pudiera conformar un proyecto expositivo. Estas obras se han desarrollado, básicamente, a partir de las posibilidades que ofrece la pintura abstracta geométrica. A esta base formal, que radica en la influencia de movimientos como el Suprematismo, el Constructivismo o el Op-Art y de artistas como Malévich, Mondrian o Vaserely, hay que añadir la influencia de la plasticidad y expresividad de la pintura de artistas del Color-field y del Expresionismo Abstracto, especialmente de la obra de Mark Rothko o Barnett Newman.
