[EN] Social media have become a valuable resource for the teaching community, enabling online teaching and learning environments to be created. These tools have gained prominence as a result of the pandemic caused by the spread of the SARS-CoV-2 virus, making it viable to continue teaching through these channels. On the other hand, social media are a fundamental element in the day-to- day work of sport managers, being a very useful tool for managing aspects as diverse as brand image, fan engagement and sponsorship. This work shares an educational innovation named "LinkedIn (r)evolution", carried out with a total of 118 students (72.4% men and 27.6% women) of sport management from two Spanish universities. In order to assess the impact of the experience, students completed a short questionnaire through LimeSurvey at the end of the innovation, scoring a battery of items on various aspects related to educational innovation, following a scale from 1 to 10. The results obtained are very positive, with scores above 7.5 points on average. Based on these, it is determined that LinkedIn can be a good resource for generating online or blended learning environments.

[EN] The following paper is an advance of the innovation project that has been undertaken by the Departments of Education and History of the Open University of Madrid; an institution that since its creation has managed all its activity by means of an online methodology. The main goal of the project is to establish the appropriate strategies to maximize the efficiency of the digital resources, with special attention to audiovisual material. Our work was articulated in two phases: a first one consisting of the implementation of audiovisual material in the virtual classrooms, and the second one, focused on analysing the degree of satisfaction that students showed with these resources. In general, the preliminary results show a positive perception of the students regarding the use of videos in their learning process. However, they also show interesting nuances, first because it is the students themselves who, from their experience, reject the videos as the main learning tool and, second, because clear differences are detected depending on the degree considered: a demand for much more pragmatic and short-term content in the degree of Education, and more speculative and medium-long-term in the History area.

[EN] The eNCLaUsTrA2 project that we present in this communication arises from the reflections made during the preparation and development of the laboratory practicals for the course Complementary Disciplinary Training (esp. Physics and Chemistry) of the Postgraduate Certificate in Secondary Teaching at the University of La Rioja. In the 2020-21 academic year, as a result of the health measures adopted due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it was impossible for many of the course students to attend the laboratory sessions. As a result of these circumstances and reflection, we considered instructing our students on the practical teaching of science using a virtual environment that favours teacher-student interaction through chats, chats and the use of collaborative murals during the development of the synchronous laboratory session. The experience gained during the eNCLaUsTrA2 workshop will hopefully have an impact on the training of future secondary school teachers, as well as providing them with a model that they can export to their teaching activity.

[EN] Tratteggio, as a reintegration system of losses or missing parts of a pictorial o polychrome work, was used initially in the middle of the last century in different centres in Italy, rapidly spreading to the countries influenced by the Italian culture. Nowadays, this retouching technic, which has as an objective the differentiation of the restored parts through a graphic-optical texturing formula, is introduced as a discipline in the undergraduate and master´s study programme in conservation and restoration at the national level. The need for learning, which we could consider as the calligraphy of the tratteggio, allows the students and the future conservation and restoration professionals to practice this discipline, making it necessary to regulate some standards of LCTD variables (length, contour, translucency and dispersion) too. The purpose of this study is to define standardization processes and cooperative group work guidelines where the participation of different professionals is required, as well as the introduction of a measurer of tratteggio as a prototype for implementation in studies of conservation and restoration of cultural heritage.

[EN] The aim of this study is to test a new perspective on an existing methodology in Language for Specific Purposes (LSP) teaching: the collaborative elaboration of glossaries to learn specialized terminology. In order to solve some of the obstacles found in previous research (Ratz, 2016; Breeze, 2014), our study proposes the creation of a cooperative interdisciplinary network with students of different professional profiles, namely experts in business and experts in English language. The objective is that they complement each other in the elaboration of a glossary of specialized business English terms, contributing with the knowledge of their area of expertise. This activity will be carried out through the glossary tool in Moodle, where business experts will create the entries while English-language experts will correct and complete them. To evaluate the level of success of this proposal, students will be asked to deliver a final task. This virtual cooperative network will prepare the former to carry out their professional work in English, and the latter to reflect on the teaching and translation of English for Specific Purposes.

(Editorial Universitat Politècnica de València, 2021-09-28) Jano Salagre, María; Ortiz Serrano, Salvador
[EN] The Covid-19 pandemic has forced us to develop skills and strategies to face the challenge of online and blended learning. This communication describes the adaptation of the Theoretical Statistics subject in the Degree of Business Administration and Management to a blended learning situation. For this, audiovisual resources have been created to support the students autonomous learning. In addition, the portfolio has been proposed as a tool, not only for evaluation, but also to help students generate materials that they can use to study and to help them self-regulate their work pace. The students have valued very positively the resources offered and a clear positive association has been detected between the degree of commitment of the students in the preparation of the portfolio and the academic results obtained. Despite the challenge posed by blended learning, it has been found that these proposals have contributed to the academic results being slightly higher than those obtained in the preavious year, before confinement.

[EN] The global pandemic caused by the emergence of the new COVID-19 has led to changes in all spheres of life as we knew it. Education has not been exempt. Institutions of the entire planet closed their rooms and the students turned on their computers to access an unusual teaching format in Spanish education. In the case of Higher Education in Spain, distance education has continued to be present. In this communication, we give a voice to the students of two public universities in the Valencian Community in order to know first-hand how they have been affected by this change. Through a questionnaire (n = 86) we set out to find out how this process has been by studying four dimensions: quality and satisfaction with teaching, connectivity and infrastructure, environment and personal problems. The students have considered an important change in the quality of the teaching received compared to the period before the crisis, as well as a lack of concentration and motivation to continue this type of teaching. Finally, we consider a series of lessons learned in order to continue living, for the moment, with this health emergency.

(Editorial Universitat Politècnica de València, 2021-09-28) Beraza Garmendia, José María
[EN] One of the objectives of the European Higher Education Area is a change in teaching methodologies, transforming a teaching-focused education into an education focused on the learning process. Dual training has a place in this model, since it allows young people to obtain a degree, through a learning process that is developed in a shared way in the training school and in the company. The main objective of this work is to know the perception of the graduates of the Dual Itinerary in the Degree in Business Administration and Management on the development of transversal competences, in order to contrast whether these students actually acquire the skills established in the Degree Report to the same extent as the rest of the graduates of the Degree in Business Administration and Management. To this end, a survey of students participating in this Itinerary has been carried out. The results show that the most developed competencies and those that has most contributed in the Degree in Business Administration and Management are self-learning and teamwork. On the other hand, the skills with the least perceived development and to which the Degree in Business Administration and Management has contributed the least are foreign language communication and creativity, innovation and entrepreneurship.

[EN] Writing is one of the most important skills in primary education. In their learning, occasionally, the concepts of graphomotricity, which are the proper movements of writing, and graphoplasticity, which are activities that promote graphography, are confused. This sometimes causes some methodologies proposed for this learning to fail. Traditionally the writing process has been carried out with structured materials, that is, notebooks specialized in the learning of letters, but currently we can also make use of the tools offered by Information and Communication Technology (ICT), since it is present in educational establishments. That is why, first, considering the advantages that this offers with respect to the structured materials and taking into account the literature, propose characteristics that have to comply with these tools, to make this learning effective. The analysis of the data after the intervention with the new methodology has concluded that, with the proposed characteristics, there is a positive evolution in all dimensions and in all students and that this methodology, compared to the traditional one, makes students more motivated by going from expensive work to being a game.

(Editorial Universitat Politècnica de València, 2021-09-28) Antela, Kevin; Hernández, Roberto; Adam-Cervera, Inés; Cervera Sanz, María; Morales-Rubio, Ángel; Pastor García, Agustín
[EN] Due to the pandemic caused by COVID-19, several educational institutions have been forced to close their facilities, and practical courses -such as laboratory practices- were impossible to carry out. Game-based learning can be found among many different digital learning techniques, and it consists in teaching the contents as a transversal inmersive element. This work will be focused on a simulation videogame, which allows the students to understand the simulated environment and to develop certain skills based on their interaction with the game interface. One of the main characteristics of these kind of video games is their high degree of realism. More specifically, in this project, students will be able to recreate the qualitative separation of 17 cations in the context of the chemistry degree. RPGMAKER program will be used for this work. A final satisfaction survey gathers the user’s opinions covering different aspects of the game so that a quantitative evaluation can be made. Since very optimistic and promising results have been found so far, this project is expected to grow that other kwnoledge fields will be incorporated, and different educational levels, from high school to university, will be added.

[EN] The evaluation of a subject is a fundamental part of the teaching-learning process and one of the main concerns of our students. This is a complex task that requires a lot of effort from the teacher. This is a growing effort in line with the increased weight of con-tinuous evaluation in the current educational system. In this work, different methodo-logies focused on maximizing the student’s performance are presented, thus minimizing the extra effort for the teacher in the evaluation process. We provide several examples of activities throught Moodle platform such as the workshop, glossary, databases, ques-tionnaires, etc. Some of them allow self-assessment once configured, whereas others promote the participation of students in the correction and/or evaluation.

[EN] The pandemic caused by COVID19 has forced universities to transfer teaching to non-face-to-face mode at different moments in the 19-20 and 20-21 academic years. Although this type of teaching implies certain difficulties in any type of teaching, these are more critical in the case of laboratory practices, associated with the skills of handling of equipment and instrumentation. Some of the strategies most commonly used to adapt experimental practices to remote teaching are: the use of audiovisual resources (own-made or on the Internet), presentations with Powerpoint-type programs, and the analysis and discussion of results provided by teachers. In some more specific disciplines, virtual or remote control laboratories are used to teach laboratory practices. This work describes the strategies used to adapt in non-face-to-face mode a practice in a subject of the Master's Degree in Industrial Engineering, as well as the tools used to teach and evaluate the practice. Furthermore, it analyses the academic results achieved, and the possible influence of distance teaching on them. On the other hand, it analyzes the opinion of the lecturers regarding the modifications introduced, in view of their possible continuity in future courses.

[EN] Students' approach to leraning influences students' attitudes towards a subject. This approach can be classified as deep or surface, indicating students' motivation for a subject. The R-SPQ-2F questionnaire can be used to evaluate the learning approach. This work assessed the learning approach in students in a first year Bacheloor’s degree subject and students in a second year master's degree subject during several academic courses. The results showed a high deep approach to learning in both subjects, albeit greater in the degree than in the master's degree. The approach was not affected by the academic year or the student's gender, but it was affected by the language of instruction. Differences between subjects could be explained by the age of the students or by their university experience that leads them to take a more strategic approach, but without becoming superficial.
