Resumen
[EN] The optimisation of container transportation is one of the challenges that the sector faces to develop logistical activities without compromising other future resources like environmental ones. The vehicle routing problem (VRP) has been widely utilised in distribution and transportation logistics scenarios. However, its application in the maritime domain with environmental considerations has been scarcely studied. This article identifies, analyses and compares mathematical models developed in five research studies connected to maritime transportation and related operations, including crane movements and container storage.
