Análisis comparativo de la fijación de carbono tras claras selectivas para aprovechamiento bioenergético en fustales de pino carrasco (Pinus halepensis Mill.) con teledetección

Abstract

[ES] El trabajo tiene como objetivo el análisis comparativo de la fijación de carbono en parcelas piloto (gestionadas) y en parcelas testigo (sin gestionar). Para ello, se seleccionan y analizan parcelas representativas de Pinus halepensis en estrato de fustal en MUP del término municipal de Enguera (València) que han recibido tratamientos selvícolas por claras selectivas, así como parcelas sin tratamiento. La fijación de carbono (stocks estáticos) se calcula tanto in situ como por medio de la constelación de satélites del programa Copernicus de la ESA y la Comisión Europea. Concretamente, el trabajo se basa en una correlación entre el cálculo de biomasa en fustal mediante inventario en campo y los valores de reflectividad de la imagen de satélite, calculando el incremento de biomasa antes y después de la intervención. Por último, dicho incremento se compara con el resultado obtenido en las parcelas testigo.

[EN] The objective of the work is the comparative analysis of carbon fixation in pilot (treated) plots and control (untreated) plots. This is the reason why the representative plots of mature stands of Pinus halepensis are selected and analysed in public forest of the municipality of Enguera (València) which have received silvicultural treatments by selective thinnings, as well as plots without treatment. The carbon fixation (static stock) is calculated not only in situ but also through the satellite constellation of the Copernicus programme of the ESA and the European Commission. Specifically, the work is based on a correlation between the calculation of biomass in mature stand by forest inventory and the reflectance values of the satellite image, calculating the biomass increase before and after the forest intervention. Finally, this increase is compared with the result obtained in the control plots.
