La postproducción del videoclip "Videogames"

Abstract

Con este trabajo hemos realizado la postproducción del videoclip “Videogames” del grupo valenciano Bangoo. Pretendemos a través de la imagen y el montaje, mostrar cómo la estética propia del videoclip se sigue manteniendo en el mundo audiovisual actual, apoyándonos en las claves artísticas que conforman el género del videoclip. Por ello, este videoclip tiene un estilo narrativo que mezcla lo abstracto y la performance, y en él se utilizan las técnicas digitales más actuales. El vídeo consta exclusivamente de imágenes grabadas en un set de croma con los tres miembros del grupo como protagonistas, interpretando la canción y realizando otras acciones de forma paralela, permitiéndonos aunar las características del videoclip representativo con la experimentación. También podremos ver los documentos necesarios para la realización: el storyboard y el guion. Veremos cómo se plantea un vídeo musical de estas características desde su concepción ya que he realizado, además de la postproducción, la dirección de fotografía, centrándose ésta en la postproducción y visibilizando la importancia de la supervisión de efectos previamente al rodaje. Mediante este videoclip hemos experimentado, practicado y profundizado en las técnicas digitales del croma, el scratching, las transiciones y la corrección de color, entre otros.

With this work we have made the post-production of the video clip "Videogames" by the Valencian band Bangoo. Through image and editing, we intend to show how the aesthetic of the video clip continues to be maintained in today's audiovisual world, based on the artistic keys that make up the video clip genre. For this reason, this video clip has a narrative style that mixes the abstract and the performance, and in it the most current digital techniques are used. The video consists exclusively of images recorded in a chroma set with the three members of the group as protagonists, interpreting the song and performing other actions in parallel, allowing us to combine the characteristics of the representative video clip with experimentation. We can also see the necessary documents for the realization: the storyboard and the script. We will see how a music video of these characteristics is conceived from its conception since I have made, in addition to the postproduction, the cinematography, focusing this in the postproduction and making visible the importance of the supervision of effects prior to filming. Through this video clip we have experimented, practiced and deepened in the digital techniques of chroma, scratching, transitions and color correction, among others.
