Montaje del cortometraje de ficción Mínima Línea

Abstract

En este trabajo me gustaría tratar el montaje como proceso artístico y creador. Del documental The Cutting Edge: The Magic of Movie Editing (2004) podemos extraer dos conclusiones muy interesantes y que he intentado seguir: la primera de ellas sería la concepción del montaje como el elemento que diferencia al cine del resto de artes ya que se encarga de guiar el ojo del espectador y su atención. La segunda conclusión, ligada a esto último sería la capacidad del montaje para influir en los sentimientos e impresiones del público. Teniendo esto en cuenta, no podemos tratar el montaje como un mero procedimiento técnico. El montaje es el encargado de dar la forma final a la película y se piensa en él desde el principio del proceso creativo ya que nuestras ideas, las imágenes que tenemos en la cabeza aparecen ‘montadas’. El montaje de Mínima Línea se basa en estos principios y en este texto se expone y justifica el proceso creador de este cortometraje donde he aplicado distintas técnicas y teorías del montaje.

In this project I would like to talk about the editing as and artistic and creator process. Of the documentary The cutting edge: The Magic of Movie Editing (2004) we can draw two conclusions very interesting that I hace tried to follow: the first one would be the conception of editing as element there distinguish the cinema from the rest of arts since it guides the spectators eye and their attention. In second place and all related would be the capacity of editing to affect the feelings and impressions of audience. Bearing in mind that we can’t address the editing process just like a simple technical procedure. The editing process is in charge of giving the final shape to the film and it is considered from the beginning of the creative process as our thoughts, the images in our mind appear edited. The editing of Mínima Línea is based on these values and this text states and shows the creating process of this short film where I have applied different techniques and editing’s theories.
