Abstract

[EN] The present work illustrates a journey through different ways of making an artist's book, while reflecting on the reflection of being in the history of art as a signifier, and as a compiler object. This infinity of human perception is spoken through the symbols that reflect our beliefs, and how these ideas can be found today, from different ways of approaching creation, showing a more classical vision of art in contrast to another more digital approach. The Greek myth of the Nereids is used here as a romantic re-reading of historical discourse, as a mirror of the human figure that considers itself self-conscious of nature and is accompanied by different icons, incarnated in animal skin, like this face of the wild and concupiscible that polarizes the being and pushes it to create.

[ES] El presente trabajo ilustra un recorrido por distintas maneras de hacer un libro de artista, al mismo tiempo que reflexiona sobre el reflejo del ser en la historia del arte como significante, y como objeto recopilador. Se habla de esta infinitud de la percepción humana a través de los símbolos que son reflejo de nuestras creencias, y como estas ideas pueden encontrarse en la actualidad, desde distintas maneras de acercarse a la creación, mostrando una visión más clásica del arte en contraste con otro acercamiento más digital. El mito Griego de las Nereidas se utiliza aquí como relectura romántica del discurso histórico, como espejo de la figura humana que se considera a sí misma autoconsciente de la naturaleza y es acompañada de distintos iconos, encarnados en piel de animal, como este rostro de lo salvaje y concupiscible que polariza al ser y lo empuja a crear.
