Turisme esportiu per a combatre l’estacionalització: organització d’un campionat escolar nacional d’atletisme adaptat a Gandia

Abstract

[CA] Aquest treball pretén estudiar el turisme esportiu a Gandia (València, Espanya) en l'actualitat. En aquest treball, es presenta una alternativa al turisme de sol i platja: el turisme esportiu relacionat amb l'atletisme. Aquesta tipologia de turisme es troba en auge i la iniciativa pot ajudar a l'ajuntament, establiments hotelers o associacions esportives a promoure-la i desestacionalitzar el turisme. Es pretén lligar el turisme esportiu de l'atletisme amb la desestacionalització del sector turístic a Gandia mitjançant la proposta d'organitzar un meeting escolar d'atletisme adaptat. L'atletisme adaptat és un dels esports amb més modalitats i amb més practicants. Tots aquests esportistes es classifiquen en funció de la seua capacitat especial i competeixen amb atletes en les mateixes condicions. D'altra banda, s'aborda la planificació turística que comporta aquest campionat. S'estudia la capacitat en places d'allotjament que té Gandia per a albergar un campionat d'aquests nivells o la disponibilitat dels clubs d'atletisme i tots els centres educatius capaços de col·laborar en l'organització. La finalitat de l'estudi és elaborar la proposta final de viabilitat de l'organització d'aquest esdeveniment i traslladar-la a institucions pertanyents perquè s'estudie la seua posada en pràctica. Per tant, en ell s'especifiquen totes les característiques del campionat, incloent-hi data, lloc, horaris o classificació dels atletes en funció de la seua capacitat especial.

[EN] This project is set in the actuality and it pretends to study the sports tourism in Gandia (Valencia, Spain). In this project, an alternative to sun and beach tourism, it is the sports tourism, related in athletics. This type of tourism is booming and the initiative can help Gandia¿s town hall, hotels or sport associations to find the solutions against the seasonality.

The link between athletic sports tourism and tourism seasonality in Gandia is the proposal to organize an adapted athletics school championship. Adapted athletics offer a great amount of modalities for athletes, who are classified according to their special capabilities, in a way that they can compete with even conditions.

Therefore, the project will tackle tourism planning during the days of the championship. It pretends to study the feasibility of the tourism establishments to organize a championship of these level, also the availability of Gandia athletics clubs and schools from Gandia to collaborate in the organization of the event.

The finality of the project is to prepare the final proposal of viability to organize this event and finally transfer it to the respective institutions for study its implementation. Therefore, it will explain everything related with the championship, the proposed date, the place, the timetable of the championship and the way to clasificate the athletes in their right groups.
