Abstract

[CA] Un recorregut per la història dels mètodes de construcció del gènere i de la diferenciació sexual és el precursor d'aquest projecte, així com, l'obligació de comprendre que els fonaments que suporten les tesis sobre els rols i estereotips de gènere s'estableixen en la cultura i no en la biologia. A partir d¿imitar les artistes referents de l¿avantguarda feminista dels seixanta i els seus mètodes de producció, s'experimenta amb noves tècniques i procediments per tal d'interpretar aquests conceptes fent servir el propi cos per tal de construir la mateixa imatge mitjançant la realització d¿autoretrats i la manipulació d¿aquests, mostrant una evolució notable al llarg del projecte.

[EN] A journey through the history of the methods of construction of gender and sexual differentiation is the precursor of this project, as well as the obligation to understand that the foundations that support the thesis on gender roles and stereotypes are established in culture and not in biology. From imitating the referent artists of the feminist avant-garde of the sixties and their methods of production, it experiments with new techniques and procedures to interpret these concepts using the same body to build the same image by making self-portraits and manipulating them, showing a remarkable evolution throughout the project.
