Cinturón verde para el municipio de La Pobla de Farnals (Valencia)

Abstract

[ES] El presente proyecto se sitúa en la zona urbana de la playa perteneciente a la localidad La Pobla de Farnals, en la costa de la provincia de Valencia. Se pretende cercar dicha zona urbana, dejando libre el Este limitado con el mar, mediante una franja arbórea integrada en el entorno y en consonancia con la vegetación local, si bien las acciones abarcan también parte de los municipios de Massamagrell y El Puig. Pretende ser una especie de cinturón verde y además de contribuir a ser una continuación del proyecto de carril bici ya ejecutado que une las dos partes del pueblo que se ha llevado a cabo durante el último año. Está justificado por la carencia de zonas verdes extensas en la localidad y la demanda de éstas por parte de la población. Además, el cinturón cumple con los objetivos de crear una zona de transición entre la huerta, la marjal y la urbe, para amortiguar los efectos visuales y paisajísticos, además de aislar todo el lateral oeste de la población de la autopista. El proyecto abarca un área de 6 ha en un perímetro de aproximadamente 2510 m. La distribución de los espacios consta de tres partes: el lateral norte supone la continuación del carril bici antes comentado casi hasta el paseo marítimo, lo que consigue la conexión definitiva entre el pueblo y la zona de playa. Esta parte constará de tres vías, una para bicicletas y patines, otra para corredores y otra para paseo; con vegetación a ambos lados. El lateral oeste será la zona más ajardinada y dispondrá de algunas zonas de descanso y ejercicio y será todo dedicado al paseo y deleite de la población. Finalmente, en el lado sur se continuará el paseo con vegetación. El complejo está pensado para que no haya necesidad de grandes movimientos de tierras, sin instalación de riego artificial aprovechando la humedad del suelo de la propia marjal, persiguiendo las condiciones más naturales de las plantas, alguna toma de agua para la conexión de mangueras en casos de necesidad extrema por riesgo de sequía y dejando solamente una fuente para beber. Al igual se intentará respetar en lo posible el fotoperiodo de las especies vegetales, optando también por una opción más natural, por lo que se dotará únicamente de farolas solares en el carril bici, y para iluminar lo mínimo necesario las zonas de ejercicio y descanso. Se seleccionarán especies vegetales autóctonas de la zona. Tanto el espacio como el mobiliario que se va a disponer en él será adaptado y accesible, para el disfrute de toda la población independientemente de la edad y de su capacidad de movilidad. Algunos de los elementos que va a contener son papeleras, bancos, farolas, entradas y salidas a lo largo de todo el recorrido para facilitar la incorporación o el abandono del camino. Por último, cabe indicar que el ambiente más representativo de esta zona es de la huerta y la marjal, de gran interés ecológico y cultural, el proyecto será totalmente respetuoso, recuperando ciertos elementos y preservando el patrimonio natural.

[EN] The present project is located in the coastal area of the coast of the province of Valencia, specifically in the beach area of the town La Pobla de Farnals, which is the one that is intended to be fenced, but the actions also include the municipalities of Massamagrell and El Puig. It intends to be a kind of green belt and besides that a continuation of the already executed bike lane project that joins the two parts of the town that has been carried out during last year and inaugurated a few months ago. It is justified by the lack of extensive green areas in the town and the demand for them by the population. This belt meets the objectives of creating a transition zone between the orchard and the city, in addition to somehow dampening the visual and landscape effects of the entire west side of the town with the highway. The distribution of the spaces consists of three parts that end up surrounding completely the municipality except for the coastal area, which already has a promenade. It will follow the following organization: The north side is the continuation of the aforementioned bike path almost to the promenade, which establishes the final connection between the town and the beach area. This part will consist of two routes: one for bicycles and skates, and the other one for runners and for walks, with vegetation on both sides. The west side will be the most landscaped area which will have some rest and exercise areas and will be dedicated completely to the stroll and delight of the population. Finally, on the south side, the walk with vegetation will continue. The complex is designed so that there is no need for earthworks, electrical installation, or irrigation. Thus, respecting the photoperiod of plant species and opting for a more natural option. There will only be solar streetlamps in the northern part illuminating the bike lane. Plant species native to the area will be selected. It is a green area devoted to enjoyment and sports that also protects the landscape and creates a transition between the urban area, the highway and the orchard and marsh area. It also provides a certain separation between the road and the two educational centers, which are currently found nearby. The entire bike lane will have numerous entrances and exits to be able to join or leave the route more easily and at any time. It is important to mention that it is designed to be accessible for the entire population and adapted to the needs of people with disabilities, thus, avoiding steps, steep ramps and areas that are too narrow. Benches will be placed at different heights to meet the needs of users, from the youngest to the elderly. According to the area in which it is located, it is intended to achieve permanent shaded areas, since the sunrays can be dangerous during summer; this will be obtained with a mixture of perennial and deciduous species that will also provide a discontinuity that adds dynamism to the set. The most representative environment of this area is the Valencian garden and areas of old marsh, both of great ecological and cultural interest. For this reason, the project will be carried out respecting the natural and the landscape itself, recovering certain wild elements of the place and revaluing the environmental heritage. The area covered by the project is around 4 ha in area and approximately 2,510 m long.
