El cinema documental en els moviments socials de València

Abstract

[ES] L'objecte d'anàlisi del treball és el cinema documental com a ferramenta per a les reivindicacions dels moviments veïnals, en el cas de la ciutat de València. Es contextualitza la relació de la ciutat amb la pedania de La Punta, el barri de Natzaret, i l'horta que envolta la carretera de la V-21, ja que són els tres casos principals de les mobilitzacions ciutadanes que compten amb la gravació dels documentals sobre estos successos. Partint dels pioners del cinema documental, passant per les seues tendències teòriques i revisant els referents del documental militant, s'han analitzat audiovisualment cinc documental valencians, dins i fora de les plataformes ciutadanes. D'esta forma, s'ha evidenciat la mancança de referents audiovisuals en el panorama social valencià.

[EN] The object of analysis of the work is the documentary cinema as a tool for the vindications of the neighborhood movements, in the case of the city of Valencia. The relationship between the city and the district of La Punta, the neighborhood of Nazaret, and the orchard that surrounds the V-21 road is contextualized, as they are the three main cases of citizen mobilizations that have the recording of the documentaries about these events. Starting from the pioneers of documentary cinema, going through their theoretical tendencies and reviewing the referents of militant documentary, five Valencian documentaries have been analyzed audiovisually, inside and outside the citizen platforms. In this way, the lack of audiovisual references in the Valencian social landscape has become evident.
