Cuerpos Conectados II. Nuevos procesos de creación y difusión en la no-presencialidad

Abstract

[EN] This proposal proposes an artistic research project on the new processes of creation of identity artistic practices in non-presence (online); specifically on those practices of the transmedia society focused on self-representation, self-reference and identity construction. The research focuses on the analysis of the new processes of creation, reception and sharing of audiovisual and transmedia content related to the body and identity; as well as its relevance in the new currents of artistic creation and its impact on social changes. Currently, there is great interest in its study due to the importance and social impact of its themes and the richness of creation and dissemination processes that go beyond the use of a medium. These are works whose wide reception and sharing, through various technological platforms, is discovering new forms of individual and collective self-representation in our society. Our starting hypothesis is that the appearance of new audiovisual technologies has profoundly modified both the way individuals represent themselves and the sharing of their images, as well as the creation processes and their reception by the public. We consider that the context of art is adequate to find out how individuality and privacy are affected by social and collective dynamics established through audiovisual media and social networks. This study will address the technological advances that have had to be implemented rapidly during confinement and that represent a logical evolution of other cultural praxis or ways of doing things (Michel de Certeau), such as the occupation of non-face-to-face space, or the creation of works in everyday environments.

[ES] Esta propuesta plantea un proyecto de investigación artística sobre los nuevos procesos de creación de las prácticas artísticas identitarias en la no-presencialidad (online); en concreto sobre aquellas prácticas de la sociedad transmedia centradas en la autorrepresentación, la autorreferencia y la construcción identitaria. En el contexto del arte ya se venía realizando en las últimas décadas del siglo pasado un tipo de prácticas artísticas de carácter identitario basadas en la conexión de los cuerpos a través de la distancia. La creación identitaria, ha experimentado grandes cambios respecto a concepciones anteriores en el arte en general y, en particular en las creaciones audiovisuales desde la aparición del vídeo arte o las videoinstalaciones. En los inicios de las prácticas audiovisuales, no existía la inmediatez ni la diversidad de dispositivos que caracterizan nuestra sociedad actual. Si los artistas provocan cambios sociales con sus propuestas creativas, esta nueva forma de crear y difundir sus obras incidirá en los procesos de autorrepresentación online - Internet (youtube) y redes sociales- del conjunto de la sociedad.Mostraremos casos de estudio de obras y artistas a través de la plataforma digital Cuerpos Conectados y su archivo de identidad digital ArchID.
