Mapatge de les IGP i DOP de vi a Espanya

Abstract

[ES] El objetivo principal de esta investigación es el análisis, caracterización y mapeo de las diferentes Indicaciones Geográficas Protegidas (IGP) y Denominaciones de Origen Protegida (DOP) para evaluar su impacto comercial.

Para ello, se realizará el estudio de las más importantes en términos de valor y volumen mediante un mapeo, valorando la proporción de superficie de viñedo ¿ viticultores ¿ bodegas inscritas y conociendo en profundidad el proceso de obtención de una figura de calidad diferenciada como puede ser una IGP o una DOP.

Asimismo, se analizarán las principales IGP y DOP a nivel internacional para, a través del benchmarking, poder proporcionar recomendaciones y acciones de mejora a las Indicaciones y Denominaciones presentes en España.

Finalmente, tras analizar los resultados, se realizarán recomendaciones que pueden ser de utilidad para el sector.

[EN] The main objective of this research is the analysis, characterization and mapping of the different Protected Geographical Indications (PGI) and Protected Designations of Origin (PDO) to assess their commercial impact.

For this, the study of the most important in terms of value and volume will be carried out through mapping, assessing the proportion of vineyard surface - wine growers - registered wineries and knowing in depth the process of obtaining a figure of differentiated quality such as a PGI or a PDO.

Likewise, the main IGP and PDO at an international level will be analyzed in order, through benchmarking, to be able to provide recommendations and improvement actions to the Indications and Denominations present in Spain.

Finally, after analyzing the results, recommendations will be made that may be useful for the sector.
