dc.description.abstract Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania is actually presented in the international panorama as a destination for countries of the North Europe. Due to a series of factors like economic and geographical aspects, this Federal State is not much known in Spain. Thus, we can observe that the Spanish tourist level is almost nonexistent. Considering that there is only one organization in Spain dedicated to the promotion and the publicity of Germany, and taking into account that Mecklenburg- Western Pomerania is a little Federal State, perhaps, this low tourist level is not very strange. The Germany tourist image that the Spanish tourist has is: green landscapes and historical cities. These factors can help for the promotion in Spain of this Federal State since Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania was characterized for its great variety of nature and the fact that it was included in the list of the UNESCO patrimony. The promotion in Spain should be increased and oriented to a specific group. Tourist packages should be created and they should contain a good price of transport and accommodation, and an amusing route. es_ES
