Abstract

Information and communication technologies together with new teaching paradigms are reshaping the learning environment. The First International Conference on Higher Education Advances (HEAd'15) aims to become a forum for researchers and practitioners to exchange ideas, experiences, opinions and research results relating to the preparation of students and the organization of educational systems. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to: Innovative Materials, Teaching and Learning Experiences Planning and Organization of Teaching Evaluation and Assessment of Student Learning Emerging Technology Practices (e.g., MOOC, OER, gamification) Experiences Outside the Classroom (e.g., practicums, mobility) New teaching/learning theories and models Globalization in education and Education Reforms Industry and Education.
