Design and development of Fortune Plaza

[EN] The following thesis report examines the Fortune Plaza project in China. In addition to background information in the form of a project overview, this report includes analysis the building, also there are two more alternatives that have to be analysed. Then the most suitable alternative will be chosen, and be used in the next phase for developing design, which includes constructive design, architectural design and execution plan. Meanwhile, the interior design will be made as well. Firstly, the building of this project will be analysed as different aspects of location, fields and analyse structural building. The general information of this project and the building that will be focused on will present in this phase. This information is the entire base for the final thesis project, and will develop based with it. Secondly, there are three difference alternatives will be showed, and all of them will be analysed by structural design. Modelling software will help to analysis and calculate. Moreover, structural drawings will help to present everything clear, and they can help to see more details. After analysis those alternatives, it is going to make the final selection. Find out which alternative is the best one for the next phase. At last, some construction design as foundation, gravity system, lateral system and earthquake’s system will work for the final alternative. Moreover, the architectural design will also present, which includes water system, heating system, electricity system and seismic system. In addition, execution plan includes technical specifications, schedule and cost estimation. Sometimes, as a group of students cannot make the decisions in a project, but it cannot stop them to create new opinions for a project. The final alternative may not the best one for an investment, but for the final thesis group, this is the best one to find the different with the others, and this one may be the most interesting one in all of alternatives. Also, working on the new alternatives can help all of members learn more than using the original one. Even the process is difficult, and takes lots of time, but everyone enjoy it, and get lots of valuable experiences form this. It will give great help in the future career. After all of these, self-reflection will be present by each member of this group. In difference views to see the process of the whole final thesis pried. Then all the readers can have a clear crystal ball for knowing more details about this report.
