Evaluation of pathologies and intervention proposal of a building situated at Stanisława Dubois street nº22, Gliwice

Abstract

[EN] The objective of this Final Project is to apply the knowledge acquired throughout the four years of the Building Engineering Degree to the rehabilitation the current state of the industrial building (Old Wire Factory) located at Stanisława Dubois Street nº22, Gliwice, Poland. To achieve the project objective we will make a historical research about the region and the building, then we will make a previous study (data collection in situ, make the drawings and plans of the building, constructive analysis, etc.). After that we could make a study and evaluation of the lesions of the building, to finally make the best proposal of intervention to the building restoration.

[ES] El objetivo de este proyecto final de carrera es aplicar el conocimiento adquirido a lo largo de los cuatro años cursados en el Grado de Ingeniería de Edificación para la rehabilitación del edificio industrial (antiguamente una fábrica de barras de acero) situado en la calle Stanisława Dubois, nº22, en el municipio de Gliwice, Poland. Para cumplir este objetivo, en primer lugar se realizará una investigación histórica tanto de la zona como del propio edificio, y a continuación se realizará un estudio previo (toma de datos in situ, levantamiento de planos, análisis constructivo, etc.). A partir de aquí se realizará un estudio y evaluación de las lesiones que presenta el edificio, para posteriormente proponer el tipo de intervención que se deberá llevar a cabo para dar solución a las patologías del edificio y realizar la rehabilitación total del mismo.
