dc.description.abstract | [EN] Remote monitoring and control system is a major factor in order to reach an equilibrium between water demand and water consumption as it centralizes and manages the consumption data coming from each irrigation area. A remote monitoring and control system will work properly not only because of the remote equipment but also due to the different sensors and actuators that help that everything works as a single unit. One of the most important actuators is the solenoid valve as it is the key component when irrigating. For this reason, the CENTER laboratory has developed a new test bench designed to test the different types of electric valves in the market. The test bench has two closed water circuits, one for clean water and another one for water with suspended particles that allow testing of two or three wire solenoids, bistable or monostable, with different supply voltages and pulse band. As a direct application for the bench, the CENTER, in collaboration with Bürkert, has carried out a comparative study of two different models of Solenoid valves. The test is aimed at verifying their performance through variable temperatures (water and equipment temperatures), pressures and voltages. | es_ES |
