PINTURA Y ABSTRACCIÓN: EL INTERIOR DE LO EXTERIOR

Abstract

En este Trabajo de Final de Grado, titulado Pintura y Abstracción: El interior de lo exterior, se presenta una serie de composiciones pictóricas realizadas con un lenguaje abstracto y con la que espero conformar un proyecto expositivo concreto. Paralelamente a su elaboración he realizado un estudio de la historia de la pintura abstracta y, especialmente, de aquellos referentes que más me han influenciado en su realización.

El proyecto se compone de una serie de 12 cuadros, dos de ellos de mayor tamaño y en formato circular y hexagonal respectivamente, y el resto de menor tamaño y en formato cuadrado. En todas las composiciones se observan contrastes acentuados entre pinceladas y manchas uniformes de color realizadas al azar y se percibe, además, una evolución entre lo espontaneo y lo procesual, como si se tratara de un tránsito del interior al exterior. Manchas uniformes de color que se transforman en gesto y textura y nos permiten apreciar al mismo tiempo la estructura original de su interior y las huellas de los procesos pictóricos utilizados en su realización.

Me identifico con la abstracción y con ella he tratado de llevar a cabo una exploración personal, una búsqueda de la madurez pictórica. Quiero con este proyecto dejar constancia tanto de una parte de mi ser interior ¿mis inquietudes y emociones¿ como de mi ser exterior como artista, la materialización de las acciones y procesos que lo han hecho posible. Al mismo tiempo, este trabajo me permitirá mostrar una buena parte de lo aprendido en estos años de carrera en el Grado en Bellas Artes.

In this final year dissertation, titled Painting and Abstraction: The interior of the exterior, are presented a series of pictorial compositions made with an abstract language and I expect to conform a concrete expositive project. Parallel to its elaboration I made a study of the abstract painting history and, specially, of those referents that more influenced my accomplishment.

This project is made of a series of 12 paintings, two of them of bigger size and circular and hexagonal format respectively, and the rest of minor size and squared format. In all the compositions can be seen accentuated contrasts between brushstrokes and uniform splashes of colour made randomly and it is perceived, also, an evolution between the spontaneous and the procedural, like if it is a transition between the interior to the exterior. Uniform stains of colour that transform in gesture and texture and allow us to appreciate at the same time the original structure of the interior and the fingerprints of the pictorial processes used in the realization.

I identify myself with the abstraction and with it I tried to take the personal exploration, a personal exploration, a quest of the pictorial maturity. I want with this project I want to record of a part of my interior being ¿my anxieties and emotions¿ as well as my exterior as artist, the materialization of the actions and processes that made it possible. At the same time, this work will allow me to show a big part of what I learnt in the last year of my degree in fine arts.
