TEMPS PARAl-lELS

Abstract

El detonante de este trabajo se localiza en el archivo, en el pasado, un pasado que contiene el presente y el futuro. El proceder es la acumulación y la recolección. Temps paral·lels comienza con un archivo de imágenes, una colección heredada, y se amplía a la recolección y acumulación de objetos dando cabida al azar y aprovechando las circunstancias de desplazamiento. Cualquier cosa puede ser archivada partiendo del principio de que cualquier cosa puede acumularse. En Temps paral·lels se cruzan archivos de diferentes procedencias y tiempos o momentos. Todo este archivo se une para crear unas piezas pictóricas, los contenedores, en los que se combinan pintura y archivo en composiciones espaciales que construyen un `espacio arqueológico¿ tanto propio como del contexto. Estos contenedores se acompañan de 23 bolsas que custodian cuidadosamente todos los objetos acumulados.

This work started with an archive located in the past. This past itself contains the present and the future. I accumulate and collect as a creative strategy. Temps paral·lels, started with the photographs finded in the old archive, the inherited one, but it grows as I find and keep collecting a new archive wich will define the country I was currently living to try to make profit of the migrant circumstances. Everything can be archived as long as it can be accumulated. In Templs paral·lels the two archives dialogue and build a new pictorical work wich I will call containers. inside the containers you can find paintings and trash in compositions that could be arqueological places from the past and the present. These containers are exhibited with 23 small bags that preserve carefully the archival objects.
