One of these problems, one of the most prevalent in the current school population, is dyslexia. This contribution presents and analyzes a corpus of works of children s and youth adult literature in Spanish, originals or translations, and other non-literary fictional texts, whose theme revolves around dyslexia, so that it can be used by teachers and educators as an intervention strategy in children affected by this problem. After carrying out systematic searches for fiction books for children and adolescents on dyslexia in bibliographic repertoires of children s and young adult literature in Spanish, original or translations, by combining keywords related to dyslexia and selection criteria to narrow down the search, the works have been classified, according to a bibliographic record model prepared ad hoc. A critical analysis of the works is carried out, aimed at a possible use in an educational intervention program, by indicating the different nuclei of interest that are addressed in the texts.Item type: Artículo , Access status: Abierto , Educación literaria en el Grado de Maestro de Educación Infantil en la Universidad de Cádiz: leer para mediar(Universitat Politècnica de València, 2022-06-30) Parrado Collantes, Milagrosa; Rivera Jurado, Paula; Gutiérrez Rivero, Antonio[EN] This research analyses the reading consumption of teachers in initial teacher training (N=61) at University of Cádiz. Focused on a qualitative methodology, this analysis contributes to making visible those titles and works that have been points of agreement -and disagreement- of these future teachers with respect to literature. These data lead to a corpus of titles that result a key to guide and project the results towards lines of research that focus on how the future teacher's reading intertext is decisive in his professional work as a mediator. [EN] A literary route is a planned route around the biography and work of one or more authors, with the aim of bringing literature closer to the recipient. This study analyses the situation of the educational and cultural literary routes in Extremadura. A bibliographic review is carried out on the state of the question regarding the literary routes and the current legislation on educational matters. The literary routes already established at the national and regional level have been reviewed. After the bibliographic review, the systematization of the information collected has been carried out to offer an orderly list of the existing bibliography in this regard. After this analysis, it can be affirmed that most of the routes are used more for tourism than for education. A shortage of routes developed for the Primary Education stage is detected. The routes usually have large cities as their destination. Lyric stands out as the predominant literary genre. The need to create educational literary routes for Primary Education students in Extremadura is clear. [EN] Actually, the pedagogy and the teaching are looking for new inclusive and equality models. For this reason, it is fundamental to think how the women writers are represented into the second language textbook. In the next pages, based on genre theories, we will reflect on literary canon which is transmitted in the Spanish as a Second Language classes. In this sense we will analyse the inventory and the treatment of women and men writers that are studied into two of the most important textbooks: Curso de literatura. Español lengua extranjera (Edelsa) and Curso de literatura española moderna (Edinume). Definitely, based on gender studies, we will think about the literary canon which is offered by the textbooks to the students, with the aim of checking if the image of the literary canon that we transmit to them is egalitarian or if it perpetuates genre differences. [EN] This work presents the results of a quantitative research focused on exploring the perception of pre-teen students about parental mediation in their habits of ICT use, as well as on analyzing its possible association with their level of reading comprehension. The theoretical review reports the possible impact of excessive and inappropriate use of ICT on cognitive processes involved in reading comprehension, such as attention and memory. The study, developed with a sample of 158 students, combines a questionnaire on parental mediation in the access to ICT and a standardized reading comprehension test. The results show that students who have a better reading comprehension competence correlate woth those who perceive greater parental control in their use of ICT at home. In addition, the study deduces the need to: 1) improve ICT use habits at home among pre-adolescents and 2) take into account the existence of significant differences both in the level of reading comprehension and in the perception of mediation in the use of ICT according to the family socioeconomic status of the students. [EN] In this project, we intend to explore video as an evaluation tool with great potential in the foreign language classroom. The main objective is for the students, future teachers of French in secondary education, to use two different forms of evaluation to compare them with each other. Starting from the oral presentations of a didactic sequence for French, which are recorded on video, our students had to evaluate them using a rubric designed specifically for it. Subsequently, once the videos had been viewed, the class had to review their evaluations, and if necessary, modify them. In this qualitative study, we analyzed the different evaluations, as well as an online questionnaire that the students completed at the end of the project, which aimedto determine the advantages and disadvantages perceived by the students when using the video in their evaluation. Video recordings are an interesting evaluation instrument, especially in foreign languages, since they have allowed a greater awareness of errors unnoticed in the first evaluation. Thus, the students have reconsidered their previous evaluation, introducing changes in the items related to oral expression. However, the evaluation of the content has not changed substantially after viewing. [EN] This study tackles the thematic of teaching reading comprehension in the particular field of science texts oriented on the students of 1st and 2nd grade (pupils of 12-14 years old) of Spanish obligatory secondary education. With the purpose of stimulating and evaluating the capacity of reading comprehension of the pupils, the action research was realized through the implementation of the INSERT method in the classroom. By qualitative analysis based on the results obtained by the lecture of 5 texts, we are looking for answers about the level of learning of pupils as well as the common usefulness and validity of the method. [EN] The review is a hybrid text genre of an expository-argumentative nature that is very appropriate for initiationinto the production of academic texts in higher education, as it enables the development of some of the communicative, discursive and linguistic skills inherent to academic texts. The aim of this paper is to present ananalysis of reviews written in Basque by first-year university students in order to identify some indices for improving the current teaching intervention. The analysis of the reviews has focused on three levels: general planning of the text, nominal cohesion and modalisation. The results show that although the basic components of the macro structure of the review are included, certain aspects need to be improved, such as the introduction of the topic and objective of the text reviewed and the evaluation. Other difficulties are related to aspects such as the lack of precision in the use of academic terminology when referring to the reviewed text or its author, and the use of declarative verbs in accordance with the use of this genre. On the basis of the analysis carried out, we detail some of the didactic objects to be worked on with first-year university students.
