Adaptación de la exposición física Viaje a la Ciudad del Infinito al medio digital, a través de la plataforma web Museo Online de Arte Digital.

Abstract

[ES] En el contexto excepcional vivido en 2020 y 2021 ante la pandemia mundial de COVID-19, se ha hecho evidente la necesidad de espacios arti¿sticos no fi¿sicos. Esto responde tanto a la problema¿tica derivada del virus y su contagio como a la potenciacio¿n de estos espacios por su creciente uso en el periodo de confinamiento. Por ello, la fundacio¿n Vicente Ferrer ha decidido crear una versio¿n digital de su exposicio¿n Viaje a la Ciudad del Infinito, en la que narran la historia de la fundacio¿n creada en la India por Vicente y Anna Ferrer, asi¿ como sus vidas e historia en ese continente, a trave¿s de fotografi¿as. Este trabajo va a dedicarse a crear esa versio¿n digital, apoya¿ndose en el Museo Online de Arte Digital, plataforma creada en un proyecto anterior precisamente para producir espacios digitales como el que busca la fundacio¿n. Los objetivos de este TFG sera¿n la adaptacio¿n de una exposicio¿n fi¿sica al medio web a nivel teo¿rico (co¿mo se traducen los elementos y los recorridos) y la implementacio¿n te¿cnica de esa adaptacio¿n. El resultado final sera¿ una exposicio¿n web que ofrezca con el mayor grado de fidelidad posible lo que ofrece una exposicio¿n fotogra¿fica fi¿sica.

[EN] In the exceptional context experienced in 2020 and 2021 in the face of the global COVID-19 pandemic, the need for non-physical artistic spaces has become evident. This responds both to the problems derived from the virus and its infection and to the enhancement of these spaces due to their increasing use in the period of confinement. For this reason, the Vicente Ferrer Foundation has decided to create a digital version of their exhibition Viaje a la Ciudad del Infinito, in which they tell the history of the foundation created in India by Vicente and Anna Ferrer, as well as their lives and history in that continent, through photographs. This project will be dedicated to creating this digital version, relying on the Online Museum of Digital Art, a platform created in a previous project precisely to produce digital spaces like the one the foundation seeks. The objectives of this report will be the adaptation of a physical exhibition to the web medium at a theoretical level (how the elements and routes are translated) and the technical implementation of this adaptation. The end result will be a web exhibition that offers with the highest possible degree of fidelity what a physical photographic exhibition does.
