dc.description.abstract | [EN] Mappings, AR, VR, gigaphotos, 3D... a whole series of resources that we must plan and integrate into a global framework, that of the museum's digital strategy, and that we must base on two main premises: on the one hand, we have We have to consider some resources that enrich the collection and that can be consulted from any channel, and, on the other hand, we have to think about its sustainability. We should not get carried away by technology, but by the type of content we have or can generate, what we want to tell and who we want to tell. All this, a challenge. We have verified that the most visited pages of the web, after those of practical information, are those of the online catalog and, therefore, we have opted to enrich the web with content about the collection with the aim of retaining users, increasing recurring users and reduce bounce rate. To do it in a sustainable way over time, we have tried to optimize resources, both in terms of content and platforms, always keeping the web at the center. Bearing all this in mind, we have focused our strategy on two main channels: the agenda (promotion of events and practical information about the museum) and the collection, focusing efforts on the creation and promotion of relevant content focused on the museum's collections. Content is key to connecting with the public and non-public, making the collections more accessible, improving the user experience, spreading knowledge and working towards a more social museum. That is why we have opted to consolidate different projects: online exhibitions linked to the museum's programming but which at the same time offer a different experience from the face-to-face one; betting on audiovisual and immersive formats, such as video mappings in graffiti of Romanesque mural painting; virtual itineraries in super high resolution in the museum app; photographed in super high resolution and creation of 3D models of the outstanding works in the collection for educational and accessibility purposes... In short, enriching online collections with new narratives that optimize the digital content they generate. | es_ES |
| es_ES |
