dc.description.abstract | [EN] The focus of this review is to promote and advance discussions on the importance of applied learning techniques in bridging the gap between the classroom and the real world experiences, by reviewing the empirically identified benefits and limitations of two signature pedagogies. The authors conclude that it may be advantageous to develop a set of shared standards flowing from lessons learned in the application of applied learning approaches across the curriculum. The authors also suggest students should be encouraged to participate in experiential education to liberate their thinking and gain practical work experience. | es_ES |
