Current tourists show different motivations for choice of travel and also their behavior in spending is different. To attend the growing interest in culture and activity holidays (such as conducting radial excursions), those responsible for the tourism policy in Valencia are commited to increasing the complementary offer of the city. Taking this information into account and due to the lack of a minimum amount of excursions provided by the province to satisfy the demand, there is now a project been carried away by both the public and private entities to resolve this matter. The excursions were based on the cultural offer of the selected areas according to it's demand.
Cultural tourism is an alternative way to combat the phenomenon of seasonality (deseasonalize), traditionally been regarded as a major problem which needs to be overcome, so diversifying the offer will help for the cause.
This project of promoting cultural tourism will have many benefits, such as, strengthening and boosting tourism, improving it's local development, and educating tourists.
Due to novelty of this project, our main objective will be to analyze the Daytours program since its beginning, basing on it's stored data, the interviews with professionals, the customer results, and both the mystery shopper and the customer satisfaction survey's of tourists.
To finish off, conclusions will be taking into consideration for the improvement of this touristic product in the private company.
